Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr are the husband/wife, author/illustrator team behind Life on the Moon, the Cookie Chronicles, The Real McCoys, Babies Ruin Everything, and Everywhere, Wonder. They spend most of their time making books and raising four kids in the hayloft of an old barn in Chestertown, Maryland, and the rest of their time speaking, teaching, and leading workshops on collaboration and creative entrepreneurship.

Nik Korpon is the author of several mystery and sci-fi novels, none of which his kids can read yet. He likes to climb mountains, surf waves, and pet cats, though not at the same time. He lives north of Baltimore with his wife, two kids, and assorted cats.

Jordan P. Jackson is an interdisciplinary artist, comic book writer, animator, and graphic designer based in Baltimore, Maryland. Jordan is the founder of JP Jackson Art, a production company that empowers intersectional storytelling through comics and animation. JP Jackson Art was born out of the necessity to empower black artists and storytellers. His illustrations and artwork have transformed the brands of Ancient Illumination and Jericho’s Bane, bringing them into the world of independent comics and animation. He is the artist behind science fiction graphic novels, Ancient Illumination, to Jericho’s Bane: The Rift; he is also the creator of the comic series The E.V.E of Insurrection.

Jamar Nicholas is an award-winning, Philadelphia-based artist and educator, dedicating his career to helping young people realize the power of visual narrative. Jamar aims to promote anti-bullying, healing, and kindness in his work. Jamar’s current project, partnering with Scholastic Graphix, “Leon the Extraordinary”, is the first book in his series featuring Leon and his friends, Carlos and Clementine.
